SEAL Team season 2 episode 5 video: Is Jason finding a new normal?

As we are gearing up to SEAL Team season 2 episode 5, we do have to wonder how Jason is holding up. We’re now going to be two episodes removed from Alana’s death and him becoming the sole parents to his kids. It is a lot of responsibility, and we’re sure that for him, that comes with many challenges.

The new sneak peek below is a rather simple challenge for Jason: That of opening up, and trying to explain parts of his life that he doesn’t want his kids to know about. He’s been through and seen a lot, and it is understandable on some level that he would want to keep much of that from them. After all, war is terrible.

Yet, he will still need to find some sort of middle ground. The best way for him to be a good parent is to let his kids in, while at the same time not doing it in a way that horrifies them with much of what he’s gone through. This isn’t something that he is going to figure out either now or in a few weeks. That’s going to take some time.

There is another question that is certainly worth wondering, and that is when precisely we could see Jason go back into the field. That is something that is still clearly on his mind, and we’re not sure that we are going to be seeing that waver. It’s a part of who he is and no matter how much he want to be around his family, that allure is probably always going to be there both for better and for worse.
