Arrow season 7 episode 4 preview: ‘Level Two’ and breaking rules

Arrow

As we look ahead to Arrow season 7 episode 4 airing on The CW next week, it feels as though the stakes will be made. Both Oliver and Felicity are going to do everything in their power in order to stop Diaz. The problem here, of course, is that Diaz has done a pretty good job of being evasive to date.

What’s going to make the pressure higher? Other than of course all of the threats on their lives, something terrible is going to happen with Rene that hits close to home. There’s also the new, mystery Green Arrow in town who will do their best in order to help. There’s a great deal that will be going on in this episode and it feels like much of it boils down to one thing: How far are some of these characters go in order to ensure that they get what they need? Finding Diaz is built out of desperation, and we certainly know that following every rule does not always lead to success in this world. Some characters may choose to break a few rules, and also take a number of dramatic risks for the betterment of those they care about.

Below, the Arrow season 7 episode 4 synopsis offers up some more information as to what’s coming:

RULES ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN – Oliver (Stephen Amell) makes a drastic move in his quest to find Diaz (Kirk Acevedo). Like her husband, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) pulls out all the stops to get to Diaz. Meanwhile, when arsonists target Rene’s (Rick Gonzalez) community center, injuring Zoe (guest star Eliza Faria) in the process, the mysterious new Green Arrow swoops in to help save the day. Faced with pressure from the mayor to capture the vigilante, Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) must decide if following the rules at all costs is the best plan to keep the city safe. Ben Bray directed the episode written by Emilio Ortega Aldrich & Tonya Kong (#704). Original airdate 11/5/2018.
