The Last Kingdom season 3 trailer: Will Alfred be destroyed?
If you look below, you can see in full the action-packed video of what lies ahead, which includes everything from orders to destroy Alfred to also the potential fall of a kingdom. This is a season of peril, and one in which Wessex is sitting on the edge of a metaphorical cliff. Will someone accept their duty, or choose instead to shirk it? This looks to be one of the most-action-packed seasons of the show to date, but given that this is season 3, did you really expect something different? This is a story, after all, designed with the purpose to have you nervous for Wessex’s future and for everyone who lives within it.
It’s also a trailer designed to make your hair stand on end. This show has been somewhat of an under-the-radar hit in the UK for the first two seasons, but this is a chance to escalate the audience more than ever. This is the first time that Netflix is broadcasting the series internationally and with that in mind, the streaming giant now has even more incentive than ever before in order to promote it. We just hope that there is a good bit of attention sent in the series’ direction over the next few weeks; Netflix does have a habit of canceling shows these days, and we want to make sure that this season isn’t the last stand for The Last Kingdom as a whole.
Also, we’re hoping that this isn’t the last video for the new season, either, since there are some new characters and a few other things from the upcoming season still worth teasing. We hope that there is an opportunity to see some of that in the weeks ahead.
