The Resident season 2 episode 6 video: Halloween horrors everywhere!
While Fox has been a little bit cagey to date when it comes to releasing substantial teasers on what lies ahead, the promo below does set the stage for some of what is coming. This is an atmospheric episode, one that is dark, creepy, and contains all sorts of things that go bump in the night. It’s not supernatural (don’t worry about that), but often with these sort of episodes we see shows try their best to convince you, at least for a split second, that they may very well be. That feels like what you’re getting with some of the scares here.

As for what could be coming beyond just the creep factor of the promo, it feels like the major story at the moment for The Resident is the medical device agreement and how it’s looking more and more like many prominent doctors around Atlanta, including Dr. Bell, are in the back pocket of the device company that Julian just so happens to also work for. There are many questions to ponder and consider as a result of that, including whether or not Julian is fully aware of everything that is going on behind the scenes. Going into the season we thought that she was going to be presented as a potentially-malicious character out to take advantage of everyone for money, but we don’t think that this is fully the case. With that said, we do think that she can be manipulative and we do worry that she is getting far too chummy with an engaged man in Devon. The longer that lasts, the easier it is to think of both of them as unlikable for continuing that relationship.
Given that this is a Halloween episode, though, it’s hard to know just how much the series is going to dive into this. They may just focus on the holiday.
