NCIS season 16 episode 6 video: Are you ready for Halloween?
This particular Halloween episode does face a little more of an uphill battle than most, largely due to the fact that this is the first October 31 that we’re going to have for these characters since the departure of Abby. She was really the queen of Halloween spirit and this is the time of year that we feel like the show is going to miss her more than usual. (There is a part of us that wishes that the writers would reference Pauley Perrette’s character a little bit more than they have, but we do realize that there is a pretty good reason why they’re not — they have to be able to move on in some time.)

Throughout the episode, it seems as though there is going to be some fairly-spooky stuff that happens, but none of it will be more so than Jimmy Palmer try to navigate the idea of the morgue being haunted. This are being moved around suspiciously and that’s going to be enough for a chill to start to come down his spine. Our personal feeling is that someone is either pulling a prank on him or that Ducky is coming back to the morgue now and he doesn’t quite realize it. We hardly think that NCIS s starting to move into horror territory and that all of a sudden, a real ghost is going to start navigating their way through the morgue. Why chill out down there if you’re a ghost, unless you do think that Palmer can handle your ghostly unfinished business and get you to the other side? (We may be putting more thought into this than perhaps we really should…)
