Magnum PI episode 6 preview: The story of ‘Death is Only Temporary’

Want to know what’s coming up on Magnum PI episode 6? Let’s start here with the title: “Death is Only Temporary.” That suggests that we’re on the cusp of something powerful — and, to go along with that, something mysterious. How else do you describe a case that starts off with a man wanting to reunite with someone beyond the grave? It actually feels like a case better suited for a medium than a private investigator.

Below, CarterMatt has the Magnum PI episode 6 synopsis with some additional information when it comes to what’s ahead:

“Death Is Only Temporary” – An aging tycoon, Henry Brown (Ben Vereen), asks Magnum to find his lost love who he says just recently contacted him – the only problem is she died 30 years ago. Also, Rick and TC meet a fellow vet who is having a hard time adjusting to civilian life, on MAGNUM P.I., Monday, Oct. 29 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The story in this episode with Rick and TC seems to be tied to something that we’ve seen with CBS shows a lot this month: Honoring the military and painting their struggles in a real light. It’s important, and something that unfortunately is often forgotten about. We’re appreciative of the fact that the producers seem to be going the extra mile, and we can only hope that this episode teaches a few viewers out there about the reality of what these people go through. It’s one thing to serve your country; however, it’s another altogether to do so and then have to figure out what your life looks like again when you make it back home.
