In this video, you can see the likes of Scott Bakula, Lucas Black, CCH Pounder, and a number of other familiar faces from the show put into words what it is like for them to be a part of an experience like this and have a series persevere for so long. From the start, big things were expected here given the NCIS franchise name and also Bakula’s reputation for being on hit shows. Yet, at the same time you never want to think that something is guaranteed. It took committed fans for the series to make it this far, and that includes people out there who may feel like this is the strongest show of the whole franchise.

As for what is coming in the 100th episode, we imagine that one of the central components in it will be learning a surprising truth about Pride’s father. Stacy Keach is coming back within this episode and over the course of the hour, a secret will emerge that could shake up everything in terms of Pride’s life and also his future. (If you are guessing some of what said secret could be, a recently-released sneak peek via CBS does a pretty good job of teasing at least a few details about it.) This is something that could play a role even past the 100th episode. Sometimes, what we like to see in these sort of episodes are things that could be important for the next 100 episodes and things that will be remembered by longtime fans.
Basically, we view it like this: This episode should be on the list of the ten most-memorable NCIS: New Orleans episodes once it is over, at least if you are doing things properly. You don’t want it to be thought of as yet another installment of the series.
