“A Thousand Words” – After a mural by a street artist and activist is stolen, the NCIS investigation leads to a conspiracy regarding a Navy contractor and the safety of ocean mammals. Also, Bishop shares a special connection with the street artist, Tuesday, Nov. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
At the moment, there’s clearly a good bit to like about the idea of this episode. For starters, it seems to be exploring a part of life that is somewhat different from anything that NCIS has done in the past and we absolutely do appreciate that. Also, as someone who loves the oceans of the world and wants to see them cared-for and protected, here’s to hoping for some sort of further discussion here. This is not something that receives a whole lot of attention anymore, largely because we live now in a world where there are about a billion different news stories a day and it’s hard for any of them to get any individual attention. Maybe this shines a light on the issue, while also maybe shining more of a light on Bishop and who she is outside of work. Sure, there is a heck of a lot of story being told these days when it comes to Ellie and her relationship with Nick Torres, but it is rather nice to get some other wrinkles added to the mix from time to time.
