Is Iron Fist star Finn Jones pushing for Heroes for Hire series?
The last two Fridays have been rough ones for fans of these two separate Marvel – Netflix properties, as each respective show has been formally canceled after just two seasons. These cancellations were considered by many to be a surprise; given that the streaming service does not reveal data for any of their shows, unfortunately it has been rather difficult over time to actually ascertain whether or not either one of them is an enormous success. It’s just felt that way.

In the aftermath of the cancellations the call for a Heroes for Hire series officially began, and the post on Instagram below via Finn Jones (showing his character’s fist alongside that of Mike Colter’s Luke Cage) is more fuel to the first. There isn’t anything official right now regarding a Heroes for Hire series, but we have to think that this is something that Netflix may be looking at. Combining these two shows and audiences may be a way to keep them going, and there’s certainly plenty of good material that can go along with it.
For those of you who are really into the conspiracy angle of things, it does not feel as though this is something that is going on here. Luke Cage had a writers room for season 3 going at the time of the cancellation, so it feels like their plan was to move forward and do another solo season rather than a big team-up. If this does end up happening, it doesn’t seem as though it was some thought-out plan for this particular moment. It may just be something either fans want, or something that Netflix may be looking at after seeing the performance from the two on their own.
