‘Shiptober 2018: Outlander, Riverdale, Shadowhunters, among advancing ‘ships

Shiptober

Mrs. Carter: Are you ready for round 3 of ‘Shiptober 2018 to officially start?

After seeing a really impressive array of votes in the second round, voting has officially closed — and there were a number of super-close results! Many of the ‘ships moving forward to round 3 did so with a different of less than 10% between them and those who failed to advance. Much of this shows the popularity of ‘ships on television these days, and also the passion of people who support them.

Before the third round officially begins tomorrow with Jamie & Claire vs. Betty & Jughead, let’s share some of the most interesting results from round 2.

-After getting off to slower starts in round 1 but still advancing, Jamie & Claire of Outlander and Betty & Jughead from Riverdale made some impressive gains in round 2! This sets things up for a really interesting showdown between the two.

-While WestAllen of The Flash finished the first round with the largest vote total, they were not able to replicate that success this go-around. Because of that, they were eliminated at the hands of Bughead.

-The strongest vote total for round to went to Supercorp from Supergirlwho needed that in order to take down Lucy & Wyatt from Timeless — they put up the strongest overall showing for any ‘ship who failed to advance.

-Deeks / Kensi from NCIS: Los Angeles are the first #1 seed to be eliminated, as they were defeated by Owen & Amelia from Grey’s Anatomy — their second-straight upset in the tournament.

-Even though fans of Wayhaught only had about 23 hours or so to vote due to their placement on the bracket, they finished with a super-impressive vote total that makes them serious competitors to Omelia moving forward.

As always, the graphic above shows you when the next feew battles will take place. Round 3 is going to run from Monday until October 26 at 1:00 p.m. Pacific time. The end of October, and the end of ‘Shiptober, will be here before you know it!
