The Resident season 2 episode 5 video: Devon shows off his new app to Julian
In case you didn’t know, Julian used to be a dancer! (Okay, in all honesty, you probably knew that a few times over.) Yet, this is at the center of the sneak peek below for Monday’s episode, as she shows Devon some footage from before her accident, which is when she was in the thick of training. Her focus has since transitioned to medical devices and helping other people who want to get their lives back … or at least that’s what she is claiming.

The thing about Julian is that there is some ambiguity when it comes to some of her motives, since all of this seems to be a ploy in order to convince Devon to show her some of what he’s doing with his app. She’s very curious about it and what it could do in order to help older patients. Is this something that she’s looking to exploit for her own financial gain? You have to think about that.
Of course, you do also have to think about the possibility of something romantic happening here … which is troublesome given the relationship between Devon and Priya. Where is his fiancee? Well, we do think that she is still around, even if she’s not showing up at the hospital. We just think that she would be far from pleased with what’s going on there and how close Devon has gotten to Julian at the hospital. She’s certainly done her best in order to encourage the closeness.
