Chicago Fire season 7 teases: What’s ahead for Brett; Lily returns!
Earlier today, show executive producer Derek Haas did a brief Q&A with fans, and in this he made it clear that you will be seeing some “good advice” and then also “some sparks” for Sylvie Brett. Does that means with Antonio? Not so much, given that Kara Killmer told CarterMatt at One Chicago Day that Brettonio wasn’t going to be a part of her story in the immediate future … but there could be someone else who enters her life.

As for Otis, the good news comes in the eventual return of Lily! His love interest will also be back before the holiday arrives, which means that we can get an update on where things stand for those two. We’re definitely still rooting for them to figure things out, which makes sense given that the two of them are one of One Chicago’s most lighthearted couples and Lily seems to really love Otis for Otis. There needs to be more great relationships out there like this one within the world of these shows.
So what’s going on with some other characters? We’re hoping that things are going to blossom when it comes to Joe Cruz’s love life after meeting someone who really loves him for him, but there could still be some problems there, as well. After all, we imagine that the iteration of Cruz that she cares for right now is the man who saved her in the crossover, but she also doesn’t really know all that much about Cruz himself just yet. Maybe she will in due time, but we’re not quite at that point just yet.
