SWAT season 2 episode 5 preview: The Queen Mary connection

SWAT

For anyone who loves historic Los Angeles landmarks, there’s another thing to be excited about with SWAT season 2 episode 5. After all, this installment was filmed at the historic Queen Mary! This ship is one of the most famous out there, and it is a place that you can actually visit if you’re out in Long Beach in the future.

So what sort of story is happening about the Queen Mary? Let’s just say that it is one that puts Hondo and Lina in a position where they are (natch) aboard a cruise ship. While there, they do everything that they can in order to ensure that the passengers are able to escape in one piece. The problem here is that there are some dangerous people on board who specifically are looking to get out of here with their product (a.k.a. drugs). If someone gets in their way, they’ll just murder them.

For some more information now when it comes to what’s next, including the next big story for Jim Street, be sure to check out the SWAT season 2 episode 5 synopsis below:

“S.O.S.” – Hondo and Lina go undercover to infiltrate and take back a cruise ship that’s under siege by drug smugglers who will execute passengers if they detect police on board. Also, Street enters the SWAT Training Academy and finds the competition fiercer than he expected, with the applicants all vying for the one SWAT position available for the year, on S.W.A.T., Thursday, Oct. 25 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

From start to finish, everything within this episode seems entertaining. Take, for example, seeing Jim Street entering the Academy could prove to be fascinating given that he thinks that he knows more than anyone — and understandably so. Yet, the twist on the other side of this is that he could end up becoming a victim of his own pride. Basically, he is setting himself up for a fall.
