Do you want to know what’s coming up on Law & Order: SVU season 20 episode 6? The title for this hour is “Exile,” and it could be a case very much about pain and also memory.

At the center of this case is a young woman, someone who is confused and presumably suffering after waking up with no recollection of some of the terrible stuff that happened to her. This is the sort of case that is almost impossible for the Special Victims unit to take on, mostly because no memory means have virtually no leads, and that means that they are largely left to their own devices when it comes to figuring out the right way to deal with the situation.

To make matters even worse, you’re going to see this particular woman vanish before the SVU can do everything that they can to help her — if there is something even more impossible than the word “impossible,” that is the right way to describe this situation. Here’s to hoping that there is some sort of way to either find the victim, or break through and start to understand the case better.

Below, CarterMatt has the SVU season 20 episode 6 synopsis offers up some other information when it comes to the series:

10/25/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Thursday) : A young woman wakes up in the hospital with no memory of her assault, and Carisi’s (Peter Scanavino) investigation stalls when she disappears. Also starring Mariska Hargitay, Ice T, Kelli Giddish and Philip Winchester. Guest starring Sandrine Holt (Lisa Abernathy), Aimee Spring Fortier (Grace Walker), Jake Robinson (Silas Perry) and Mat Vairo (Drew Brogan). TV-14 D, L, V

The synopsis itself doesn’t really give too much away other than that it seems like this will be a big case for Carisi. We’re always for that, given that these cases offer up small opportunities here and there to learn about these characters.
