Grey’s Anatomy season 15 episode 6 spoilers: A Day of the Dead episode
It’s rather interesting that the holiday is getting so much attention across network TV this year — there is an episode of MacGyver coming up with a big Dia Los Muertos component to it, and the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital seems to be readying their own take on it. Rather than doing a huge, traditional celebration for the holiday, though, it seems more like some of these characters are simply planning to just ring in the day in their own unique way instead.

Meredith has a patient whose family is celebrating Day of the Dead, making the doctors remember loved ones they have lost; Richard shares unexpected news with Meredith about her father; Teddy tries to tell Owen that she is pregnant.
Given that Grey’s Anatomy has killed off a number of notable characters over the years, this is a good way to remember many of them in between Derek, Lexie, Mark, and many others. There’s such a deep roster of notable people who have left the world of this show in the past and because of that, there are many different stories that could be told.
As for Meredith’s father, we already knew that we were going to see an appearance from Jeff Perry this season! It’s the first time in a while they he has been around, but for us it’s absolutely welcome news.
