Legends of Tomorrow season 4 episode 2 heading to Salem witch trials

Legends of Tomorrow

Legends of Tomorrow season 4 episode 2 is not going to be airing on The CW until we get around to the end of the month, but why not start the excitement now? This is one of the best superhero shows on television just because it is so exciting and joyous. Every week, it feels like you’re getting a wonderfully imaginative little chapter of history, one that is brilliantly distorted by all sorts of ridiculousness. This is a fun show, and one that we desperately hope viewers do not forget.

What do we love about episode 2 in particular? For starters, we’re going to be seeing a fairy godmother (hinted at in a recent promo), a witch hunt, and also a mystery about the Time Bureau’s funding. Eventually, we imagine that this season will lead us towards some sort of central villain, but the funny thing is that we’ve heard very little about that and it also doesn’t matter. This is a series more about the crazy journey than the evil at the end of it.

Take a look at the season 2 synopsis for more:

When the magical Time Seismograph goes off, the team finds themselves headed to the Salem witch trials. Sara (Caity Lotz) notices that Zari (Tala Ashe) is taking this case personally when she promises to save a mom, who is being accused of being a witch. However, the team quickly learns that there is a magical creature in the town creating problems they hadn’t been expecting.

Meanwhile, Nate (Nick Zano) and Ava (Jes Macallan) work together to try to keep their Time Bureau funding by proving to them that magic exists.

All in all, sound fun? This is a series that we hope lasts for as long as it possibly can, and we’re super-thrilled to see that the cast and crew are having a blast with it. One thing we’re especially happy to see is that Dominic Purcell seems to be enjoying himself now — he posted an incredibly blunt message on Instagram last month talking about how the first season “sucked,” but how he is so happy to be a part of this show now and loves the writing and the characters.
