For those who want a great Elementary season 7 filming update, here it is: The cast and crew are working now on the 150th episode!
This news was confirmed on Thursday via Elementary Post on Twitter, and that’s certainly a cause for some great celebration! It’s a big milestone for any show to make it this far and we hope that the writers think up some cool stuff for this episode as a result.

By and large, though, there is still a good bit of mystery surrounding the seventh season and what lies ahead. For the time being, what we know is that it will not premiere until 2019, and that it will begin with Sherlock and Joan in London. There’s no guarantee that the two will stay there forever, but there does at least appear to be some sort of attempt to pay homage to the classic Sherlock lineage. Meanwhile, we also know that Bell and Gregson are still going to be involved in the series in some capacity — these four characters are the heart of this show and we certainly don’t see a desire to move away from using them as much as humanly possible. We could see a little bit of London mixed with New York, but above all else, it feels fair to say that there are some great mysteries coming. Few shows handle procedural elements better than this one, but it is also nice that there are occasionally opportunities to see larger character stories in here as well. He’s to hoping that Joan gets a chance to experience parenthood in season 7 after fighting so hard for it in season 6.
Also, here’s to hoping we get more news on the new season before too long.
