Is Law & Order: SVU season 20 episode 6 going to be a huge hour for Carisi? It’s a little too early to say that for certain, but we do think that it could be one where he is, at least, leading an investigation. Unfortunately for him, it just so happens to be a really difficult one involving a victim who disappears and he faces a near-impossible challenge trying to find them.

Want a little bit more information regarding just what you can expect to see? Then take a look now at the SVU season 20 episode 6 synopsis:

10/25/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Thursday) : A young woman wakes up in the hospital with no memory of her assault, and Carisi’s (Peter Scanavino) investigation stalls when she disappears. Also starring Mariska Hargitay, Ice T, Kelli Giddish and Philip Winchester. Guest starring Sandrine Holt (Lisa Abernathy), Aimee Spring Fortier (Grace Walker), Jake Robinson (Silas Perry) and Mat Vairo (Drew Brogan).

There are a couple of things that are welcome about this episode. Obviously, there’s the chance to see Scanavino have some great material. Also, we’re excited to see Holt back on the series again after she first turned up in the two-part premiere episode. She’s a great actress and beyond that, she’s playing a character who could be helping Stone through some of his personal demons. Having someone around like her who can advise members of the SVU on a psychological seems quite valuable, given that both these detectives and their victims are often experiencing very-traumatic things. It’s not always easy to tackle some of this subject matter without a great deal of help at your side.

Hopefully, this episode also does a good job of continuing what seems to be a solid ratings trend for SVU. While the numbers are down in the new timeslot, that had to be expected given the different lead-in and airing an hour later. What’s most important is that SVU won its timeslot in the ratings last night and we hope that this trend to continue in the future.
