Blue Bloods season 9 episode 5 spoilers: How Eddie intervenes in ‘Thicker Than Water’
On Blue Bloods season 9 episode 5, we’re going to continue to see the writers come up with fun uses for Eddie Janko.
Admittedly, we were concerned a little bit earlier this season when we learned that Jamie and Eddie were splitting up as partners, mostly because we weren’t altogether sure how they would end up using her. Luckily, it does feel like the team has figured out a way — we’ve seen some solo scenes with her and Jamie away from work, and on the aforementioned episode she will end up being a mediator-of-sorts between Danny’s sons Jack and Sean. Why her, and not Danny or even Jamie? Maybe it’s a chance for a new perspective, or it is at least a chance to see a new perspective featured on the series in some way.
Below, the Blue Bloods season 9 episode 5 synopsis offers up some other information when it comes to what lies ahead:
“Thicker Than Water” – Danny and Baez investigate a murder attempt against a celebrated fertility doctor with a seemingly pristine reputation. Also, Eddie is called to intervene in a Reagan family matter involving Danny’s boys; Erin helps Anthony find justice after a date night goes wrong; and Frank ties up loose ends with an old friend, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Oct. 26 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
One justification for bringing Eddie in to help with this particular situation may just be that Danny, clearly, is a little bit busy taking on everything with his case. Maybe he’s a little bit wrapped up in that and not really able to help out at home as much as he would like.
How do you think Blue Bloods should continue to use Eddie, given that she is not Jamie’s partner anymore? Share some of your thoughts in the attached comments.
