SWAT season 2 episode 4 preview: Street’s heartbreaking reveal; Hondo’s suspicions

Want to know some of what’s coming up on SWAT season 2 episode 4? The story is titled “Saving Face” and this is going to feature a number of complicated reveals. Beyond just that, it will also give you another big personal reveal when it comes to Jim Street. It’s been good seeing everything that he’s done for his mother, but is there more pain coming? For the time being, it certainly does seem that way.

Below, the SWAT season 2 episode 4 synopsis offers up some more information when it comes to what lies ahead:

“Saving Face” – Hondo suspects an ulterior motive when Eric Wells (Michael Trucco), a U.S. marshal who is the estranged husband of his romantic interest, Deputy District Attorney Nia Wells (Nikiva Dionne), requests the S.W.A.T. team’s help with apprehending a fugitive who is robbing drug cargo shipments. Also, Jessica is forced to implement departmental budget cuts, and Street makes a heartbreaking discovery about his mother, Karen (Sherilyn Fenn), on S.W.A.T., Thursday, Oct. 18 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

As you would imagine based on this alone, we’re set to have a rather dramatic episode coming up. For starters, Michael Trucco is a great actor and we’re always happy to see him in as many different shows possible. It’s an opportunity to learn more about how Hondo navigates a difficult political situation; beyond just that, we’re also very much interested in learning a thing or two more about what’s going on with Street’s mother.

No matter what is coming up next, the biggest message we have to pass along at the moment here is this: If you love SWAT, the best thing that you can do is check out the episode live. The ratings could need a boost here in the event in the event that you want to see an additional season down the line. At the moment, this is firmly a show on the bubble.
