Based on everything that we’re hearing when it comes to SEAL Team season 2 episode 3, one thing feels clear: This will be emotional. This will be an hour that is about recovering from tragedy, and if all of our feelings are accurate, this could be one of the strongest performances of David Boreanaz’s career. When you do think about everything that he has done over the course of the past couple of decades, that stands out even more. We almost don’t want to say too much here, since some things are better off being seen.

When it comes to Jason’s future with the Bravo Team, it is mostly hard to imagine him leaving just because of the fact that this has been his home-away-from-home, and in a lot of ways, he functions better there than he does anywhere else. To take him away from that would be almost like taking a huge part of his identity from him.
Now that we have said this, however, we do also have to be aware that this is a dangerous job and if he didn’t consider his options after a tragedy, we’d start to really wonder if there was something legitimately wrong with him. The character considering his future is so much more the responsible thing to do, no matter what he does decide when the dust settles.
Let’s just go ahead and reiterate one thing here in closing: Bust out some of your hankies. We have a feeling that you are going to need them.
