Chicago Fire season 7 episode 4 preview: ‘This Isn’t Charity’ details

Chicago Fire season 7

Do you want to know what’s coming up on Chicago Fire season 7 episode 4 next week? The title here is “This Isn’t Charity,” and NBC is being surprisingly coy as to what’s coming up.

While we do have a full Chicago Fire season 7 episode 4 synopsis with details, this is a little bit shorter than precisely what we’re used to:

10/17/2018 (09:00PM – 10:00PM) (Wednesday) : Firehouse 51 is on high alert when a series of explosions rock the city. Herrmann adjusts to his new duties and Kidd gets a visit from an old friend.

In terms of drama, it feels fairly clear that the zenith of the action is going to be seeing a number of explosions plus the aftermath of that. Yet, beyond that there are going to be a number of notable stories from a personal angle. For Herrmann, we mostly just appreciate that he is going to have an opportunity to really explore some new responsibilities. These are things that he has not necessarily had an in a while, given that he’s been in the past position for a great deal of time. He very much deserved the bump up and we are absolutely curious to see what comes along with it.

As for what we could be seeing with Kidd, our main cause of excitement there is just getting to know her past a little bit more. With Miranda Rae Mayo’s character, almost all of the excitement has come out of seeing her in the present. With that, it’s clear that there are so many different avenues and ideas still worthy of exploration. It’s going to make our attachment to the character stronger, and then also hopefully the bond between her and Severide.
