Blindspot season 4 spoilers: The rise of some supporting characters

Blindspot season 4

If you’ve been following some of the news as of late when it comes to Blindspot season 4, there’s one thing you may know already: Rich Dotcom is going to be a major part of the story! Ennis Esmer has been promoted already to series regular, and beyond that, it appears that there are some other familiar faces you’ll be seeing a little more of. While we expect that Jane / Remi and then Weller will have major roles in the story, it does appear that some supporting roles are going to be getting more of a spotlight, as well. For those who love some of these people, there’s a lot to love about what lies ahead.

Speaking via TVLine, executive producer Martin Gero had the following to say about some notable people who you will be seeing a little bit more of:

“We talked about it, but decided instead to give some of fan favorite guest stars a little more screen time. So Boston Arliss Crab (played by Josh Dean), Keaton (Chad Donella) and Matthew Weitz (Aaron Abrams) will be playing more prominent roles this season — as well as a few surprise new guest stars that are super exciting.”

Basically, it seems like the producers are going to be having a lot of fun with various people this season — that’s exciting, especially since Blindspot has such a great bench at this point to work with. It’s a little similar to The Blacklist in that both shows have this sort of super-deep roster of supporting characters, and many of them are colorful enough that they can stand out even in a few minutes of screen time. It’s almost like getting a fun character in a comic book who may only show up in a few different scenes. Yet, after those scenes there is a pretty good chance that they will be remembered for many issues to come.
