When This Is Us season 3 episode 4 airs on NBC next week, you’re going to get a story in “Vietnam” that has been weeks in the making.
As a matter of fact, this is a storyline that was first teased many months ago — we know that Jack served in the war, and the real question that we were left to wonder here was when the producers would really start to include this version of the character and what some of that would look like.
As for how much of the other characters we see throughout this episode, that remains to be seen — for now, what is 100% clear is that this episode could prove to be a journey really like no other as we watch Jack Pearson try to find himself under some of the most dire of circumstances. The Vietnam War is not the sort thing anyone should have wanted to be a part of, provided that their goal at the very end of it was to remain safe.
Below, the This Is Us season 3 episode 4 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below offers up a little bit more information regarding just what you can expect to see from here:
10/16/2018 (09:00PM – 10:01PM) (Tuesday) : A young Jack makes a decision that will impact the course of his life. TV-14 L, V
Let’s hope as the season goes along that there are some more opportunities to see a few different surprises along the way, especially when it comes to the relationship between Jack and his brother Nicky. This is a character whose history is buried so far in the past and, because of that, we really haven’t had a chance to learn all that much about him. Jack was not really the sort of person who shares a lot of details about what’s he was going through. He liked to live in the moment, in many ways for better or for worse.
