Hawaii Five-0 season 9 spoilers: Eddie Cahill to guest star!

Hawaii Five-0

Just in case you wanted some great news guest-star news when it comes to Hawaii Five-0 season 9, we do think that this report should be up your alley.

According to a new report coming in via TVLine, former CSI: NY actor Eddie Cahill (fun fact: Peter M. Lenkov used to be an executive producer on this show) is going to be appearing on the November 2 as Carson. He is a pilot, and to go along with it, he is an old friend of Steve McGarrett’s. Their history dates back to when Steve was in the military … which is rather important here given that Carson is no longer among the living.

When we see this character, we’re going to do so via flashbacks in the midst of a larger investigation. Carson was killed in a “mysterious plane crash,” per the publication, while also being apparently involved in a kidnapping. Sometimes, not everything is exactly as it seems with this show, so that is something to keep in mind.

One of the things that we’re certainly excited to see on Hawaii Five-0 season 9 is an opportunity to really dive back into the backstory of a number of different characters, especially Steve. We already know that is happening mostly because of a secret that Greer is hovering over his head, something from many years ago that could be damaging to his future. He doesn’t want to give in to any of her demands or threats, but this is something that could still impact his present. As for what that is, all we know right now is that it revolves around his time in Marrakesh. That’s something we discuss further in the video below; if you enjoy this, remember to subscribe to CarterMatt on YouTube for more and be sure to also take a look at our show playlist.
