Criminal Minds season 14 episode 4, airing on CBS come October 24, is going to put Prentiss and Garcia in the spotlight. This is going to follow the show’s recent trend of giving you great, personal stories revolving around some of the characters. To be specific, this one is going to also give you some reminders of what happened with the cult in the premiere. We do always prefer Criminal Minds when some of the cases of the past do matter, and it certainly doesn’t seem like the 300th episode is drifting far from any of the characters’ lives in the immediate future.
Below, the Criminal Minds season 14 episode 4 synopsis offers up some more insight on what Prentiss is going to do to help Garcia get over her capture and the harrowing situations that followed:
“Innocence” – Soon after the BAU steps in to help local law enforcement isolate a prime suspect for a ritualistic murder in Tallahassee, Fla., a second person who is related to the first victim is killed under similar circumstances. Also, Prentiss is concerned about Garcia’s behavior in the aftermath of her abduction and has an idea of how to help with the healing process, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Oct. 24 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Is Reid going to be okay following what happened to him? This synopsis clearly doesn’t indicate anything, but at the same time, people often tend to handle trauma differently and we certainly anticipate that is going to be the case here.
As for a case of the week here, we do think the ritualistic episodes of Criminal Minds are certainly some of the more notable ones. The cases are freakier, and as a result of that, they are all the more memorable.
