What are we going to be getting when it comes to Magnum PI episode 4 when it airs on CBS in a single week’s time? This episode is going to boldly taking on a common crime-TV trope actually fairly early on in the run: A main character getting arrested for a crime they likely did not commit.
In this particular case, the suspected criminal is Magnum! We don’t blame anyone for trying out this format with Magnum PI, since effectively every crime show has about a dozen or so tropes they hit. What makes them special is everything that they do within the world, whether it be introducing some surprising twists or having characters do surprising thing. Every person reacts to this sort of situation differently, and we imagine that this is also going to be the same thing with Magnum as he tries to come to terms with the idea of being behind bars for an extended period of time.

Below, the Magnum PI episode 4 synopsis offers up some other information regarding what you can expect:
“Six Paintings, One Frame” – A close friend of Higgins, an art connoisseur who recently hired Magnum to test his security, is murdered, and Thomas is arrested as the main suspect, on MAGNUM P.I., Monday, Oct. 15 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Of course, we’re all for any story that gives us a chance to learn a little bit more about Higgins, given that she’s been one of the real standout characters on the series so far. She’s got an amusing back-and-forth with Magnum, which probably comes with the territory of where he lives and the sort of work he does on a daily basis. It certainly adds to the fun when she has her own background of kicking butt and taking names that can be tapped into at just about any moment.
