Is Fear the Walking Dead new tonight on AMC? A look at the future
Yet, most good things do come to a close, and for the time being, we have to go ahead and prepare ourselves for a fairly long wait now in order to get some new episodes. There is no new episode tonight, as the flagship show is now back on the air and will air two batches of episodes — one in the fall, and then to go along with that, a second batch coming up in the winter. You’ll get a chance to see both of these batches before Fear the Walking Dead returns.
Judging from the way that season 4 ended, it does feel a little bit as though much of the talk surrounding the series crossing over with The Walking Dead was somewhat of a tease. It doesn’t seem as though Morgan or anyone else is going to be heading over there as soon as we thought, as it seems more now that the denim factory will serve as the season 5 home base and from there, this particular group of survivors is going to do what they can in order to help other people in need. This show doesn’t really feel all that much like the original given that there are so many characters from that version who are now gone, but there is still a chance for this series to try some new things out and give us some exciting, creative ideas.
We just hope that the show really swings for the fences for season 5 and gives us something, whether it be a fantastic performance or a Big Bad, that is truly epic. The second half of season 4 was definitely polarizing, with some feeling as though Martha was one of the weakest villains that we’ve seen to date within the Walking Dead universe so far. She was threatening, but she was also just one person facing off against a group.
