Chicago Med season 4 episode 4 spoilers: Why are the police visiting Will?

Chicago Med season 3 episode 14

At this particular moment in time, it feels like Dr. Will Halstead on Chicago Med has quite a bit of drama on his plate. Think about things this way: The good news is that he and Natalie Manning are engaged, but the bad news is that he and Jay are trying to handle the loss of his father.

So what else is being added in terms of drama now? Well, much of that may have to do with Chicago PD … but not necessarily the same part of the PD that he is very much familiar with already.

This is a story that is somewhat-hard to set up in advance, mostly because there is still a great deal of ambiguity with it. The Chicago Med season 4 episode 4 synopsis is the best source of info we have a the moment:

10/17/2018 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Wednesday) : Dr. Halstead gets an unplanned visit from the CPD while Ethan is skeptical of a woman who is experiencing chronic pain. Natalie tends to a cancer patient whose brother has strong feelings on why he is refusing to lend his assistance TV-14 L

We focus mostly on Halstead’s story here just because it makes it sound almost like the police are coming to deliver some bad news to him, or because they actually suspect him in something. Given that Will would never do anything intentionally bad to anyone, this does raise a number of interesting questions when it comes to what this story will look like.

Meanwhile, the other cases in this episode feel like ones that are meant as standalone moral and ethical discussions. There are situations coming for Natalie and Ethan that will feel in some way rather similar to what many viewers out there have experienced. That’s very much woven into the success of what this show really is.
