MacGyver season 3 episode 3 preview: Heading back to school

Do you want to know what’s coming on MacGyver season 3 episode 3? Let’s just say this episode will take these characters back. To be specific, they will send some of these characters back all the way to college. On paper, this could prove to be one of the most-entertaining installments of the entire season, but we just have to wait and see whether or not it actually ends up being the case.

Below, CBS has the official MacGyver season 3 episode 3 synopsis with some additional information in regards to what lies ahead:

“Bozer + Booze + Back to School” – MacGyver, Riley, Bozer and Leanna go undercover on a college campus to smoke out a deep-cover operative who is recruiting students to carry out deadly attacks around the world. Also, Jack joins bounty hunter Billy Colton (Lance Gross) in the hunt for a bail jumper but is concerned when he finds out Billy offered Riley a job, on MACGYVER, Friday, Oct. 12 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

This episode, at least in terms of the case the Phoenix Foundation team is taking on, should prove to be all sorts of entertaining. Beyond just that, we do think it will be good to see Billy Colton back on the show in some capacity. He and Riley got involved romantically last season and there hasn’t been too much of an update on their relationships since. This episode will provide an opportunity to see what is going on when it comes to these two — and then also if there is a way to make their relationship work. Sometimes, it is admittedly rather hard when you’ve got so much other stuff going on (as the Phoenix Foundation crew clearly does).
