SWAT season 2 episode 3 preview: Hondo’s personal, professional lives meet

Are you curious about what lies ahead on SWAT season 2 episode 3? If you’re a Hondo fan, there’s a lot to be excited for. “Fire and Smoke” next week is an installment that puts Shemar Moore’s character front and center, and it does also ask some interesting questions about whether or not it will be a good thing for his personal and professional life to mix. Sometimes, that causes so many more problems than you would even be aware of on the surface.

Below, the SWAT season 2 episode 3 synopsis offers up some other information when it comes to the story ahead:

“Fire and Smoke” – The SWAT team is enlisted by Hondo’s new romantic interest, Deputy District Attorney Nia Wells (Nikiva Dionne), to protect the jurors of a high-profile bribery trial, after some of them are targeted by organized crime in a series of fire-bombings, on S.W.A.T., Thursday, Oct. 11 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Are we excited about the opportunity to be able to see what happens with Hondo over this episode? Absolutely so, but we wouldn’t be altogether shocked if there is some sort of turmoil that unravels as this episode goes along. Hondo is a guy who has so many parts of his life together; yet, it is very much clear that he has some sort to be done in some avenues. Romance is one of them. This will be a chance to learn more about him when it comes to relationships, but also when it comes to how SWAT operates when it comes to a legal case. There’s probably still going to be some action, but also potentially a little bit of legal drama — we do want there to be a wide array of different genres mixed into the show.

Let’s just hope now that SWAT continues to deliver what it has so far this season. We’re still in the early going, but we absolutely have some hope for the future.
