Law & Order: SVU season 20 episode 4 preview: A tale of ‘Revenge’

In case you were wondering, Law & Order: SVU season 20 episode 4 is going to be an especially weighty hour. Why? The episode title alone is pretty clear evidence of that: “Revenge.” Whoever is acting out within this episode, it’s pretty clear that they have a pointed reason for doing it. This could set the stage for a lot of drama and intrigue as the story progresses, leading to some sort of enormous courtroom showdown at the end. Given that Callie Thorne is appearing in this episode as her longtime characters of Nikki Staines, it feels pretty clear that this is a case that will emphasize every aspect of what makes this show so great.

At the moment, we firmly expect SVU season 20 episode 4 to be a memorable case, but the full power and gravitas of it is something that will likely reveal itself in due time. One of the key components here is simply going to be precisely how long these string of break-ins last, and just how fully immersed they become within the surrounding story at large.
