Blue Bloods season 9 episode 2 video: Is there a threat against Frank?
We are speaking here, of course, about none other than Frank Reagan, a man who has found himself targeted certainly before, and absolutely will be targeted again. It’s not all that hard to figure out why: He is a charismatic but divisive leader, someone who will constantly have some sort of target on his head. There is a reason that there are people hired specifically to protect him, and they may need to do their jobs now even more so than ever.
Beyond of course his actually hired security, Frank also has multiple other lines of defense that will make themselves clear in this episode: His family. Danny will do anything to help him, and while Erin isn’t so much out in the field, be prepared for her to flex her legal muscles wherever she can.
As for what Jamie can do in this particular situation, that much isn’t 100% clear given that he is now responsible for working at a new precinct, one potentially in a more dangerous part of town. He has passed his Sergeant’s exam and that’s great for the character! We do have our reservations about him being apart from Eddie, especially with her just now joining the Reagan family dinner table (easily one of the best parts of every episode) and becoming a larger part of the family. We want to see her in almost every aspect of Jamie’s life since that is what they wanted.
