SEAL Team season 2 premiere video: Jason and Alana’s future
So what is going on here? Basically, we do think that this preview is another reminder of the hardships that come with Jason’s job, coupled with his eagerness to continue to go back out there and get things done. His relationship with Alana has fallen apart, in part because he’s never around and also because of the specific nature of his work. We imagine that it’s one thing to live the life that they have for a short period of time; however, the longer it lasts and the more difficult it becomes.

Jason makes it clear to her that he has found a place nearby and that could be the best thing to ensure that he doesn’t end up being too far away from the kids; yet, does that really matter all that much if he is never around? We think that Jason is speaking somewhat in ideals, in this perfect situation where he works some and is home some. Yet, Alana is the realist here since she’s been through the fire with Jason. With that in mind, she understands that there’s a good chance that what he is saying does not actually end up coming to fruition and that he could die at any point. Jason may do his part to assure her that this is not going to happen, but how much can he really do that? He’s not in control of what the opposition does!
While this sneak peek doesn’t offer up too much insight into what’s coming over the course of the SEAL Team season 2 premiere, it does at least offer up a sense as to where Jason’s head is at in the early going and that should help set the stage for the new season.
