Bull season 3 episode 3 preview: An unarmed police shooting case
At the end of tonight’s episode, we had a chance to see an appearance from Jill Hennessy as Cable’s mother. The character arrived to the TAC in hopes of picking up some of her stuff, but we certainly did wonder if there would ultimately be something more that stems from her turning up. Hennessy is a fantastic performer, and we didn’t exactly think that the producers would cast her just for a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance.
So where do we think that the story is going to go moving into the future? Well, the promo that aired after tonight’s episode didn’t actually give much of anything away when it came to the story of Cable’s mom; instead, the focus was instead about a controversial topic in a police officer shooting someone unarmed. It’s fair to declare that this is not going to be an altogether easy case for Bull to tackle, mostly because it is so political and just about everyone under the sun is going to have a specific opinion as to how it should be handled — and that of course includes the authorities themselves.
