MacGyver season 3 episode 4 preview: Will Mac let his father back in?

Want to know more of what’s coming on MacGyver season 3 episode 4? Well, be prepared for a personal hour of television. This one is going to be very much all about Angus MacGyver trying to figure out if he can establish a better relationship with his father. We imagine that this is going to be a heartfelt and entertaining hour, but we don’t want to get too wrapped up in sentimentality here — after all, there is still to be an action-oriented part of this episode and one that will give Mac and Riley a mission separate seemingly from much of the team.

Below, the MacGyver season 3 episode 4 synopsis offers up some other information when it comes to what lies ahead:

“Guts + Fuel + Hope” – MacGyver and Riley, with the help of Vasil (C. Thomas Howell), a distraught father, must find a way to drive a tanker filled with liquid oxygen through a region occupied by rebels and deliver it to a children’s hospital before they run out. Also, Riley helps MacGyver decide whether or not to allow his father back into his life, on MACGYVER, Friday, Oct. 19 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The more that we get into this episode, and the more we could end up getting to see some great scenes between Lucas Till and Tate Donovan, who will be back for this particular episode. While he is not a regular, we certainly do imagine that there are going to be a few different opportunities to see this character over the course of the season. We’re ultimately excited to see whatever sort of drama that brings.
