Better Call Saul season 4 episode 10 (finale) spoilers: The story of a ‘Winner’

Better Call Saul season 4 episode 10 is the final installment for the series this year, and with that, it’s fairly easy to speculate what’s going to be coming. There has to be a big play or a shake-up at this point; otherwise, are we really getting any closer to Jimmy becoming Saul? Vince Gilligan and the rest of the writers have spent a good bit of time building up the Jimmy story, really too the point where you could argue that they’ve taken too long to get to this point. We’ve still appreciated the journey, but we’re also aware that this is the sort of story in which eventually, we are going to see the world start to cave in. It’s really hard for Jimmy to keep balancing the life that he has.

All of this should tell you already that we are due to get some big turning points on some of these stories, and we’re certainly curious to find out what that is going to look like for some various characters on the series. With Mike, we think that his entire story is largely set in stone; for Jimmy, however, there are some larger cracks that need to be filled and that’s without even talking all that much about some of the flash-forwards. We’re still a conspiracy theorist that there is a larger story coming in that timeline, but there doesn’t seem to be any hurry on the producers telling it.
