The Last Ship season 5 episode 5 preview: The quest for intel
For most of the season so far, the crew of the Nathan James, and elsewhere in the Navy, have been rather busy battling Gustavo in some of his people in order to secure something that closely resembles safety for the world. Unfortunately, there have been some serious setbacks that they have faced along the way — there were all of the incidents that we saw at sea throughout the episode, and beyond just that, we also ended up seeing Kelsey’s betrayal. It doesn’t look as though Alisha’s future is particularly bright and the opposition is at an even greater advantage.
Below, The Last Ship season 5 episode 5 synopsis offers up a little more in the way of insight as to what’s coming up ahead:
After months of fighting, the crew of Nathan James must embark on a dangerous mission to secure important intel that could decide the fate of the war.
If you love The Last Ship and the crew of the Nathan James, we do think that it’s best to go ahead and give you a good warning now that things are only going to get even more dangerous from here on out. We don’t think that we’re going to be seeing the other side of the horizon in the near future, so our advice to you is that you better take a deep breath and prepare for some more characters to be knocking on death’s door. It’s so engrained into the fabric of what this show is and with this being the final season, we do think that there is a good chance all hell is going to be breaking loose.
