Floribama Shore season 2 episode 13 video: What happened to Candace?
So what is happening with Candace? Well, a lot of it stems from an incident that happened between Candace and Gator Jay, where he put his hands around her throat. This is something that one of her friends apparently told her mom about, and in the sneak peek below, you can see the other cast members trying to do whatever they can to protect her. In this preview, they make it clear to her that it is never okay for a man to put his hands on a woman. They feel this way strongly and do what they can in order to convince her to get away from Gator Jay sooner rather than later.
In some ways, you can see Candace trying to defend him within this preview, making it clear that otherwise, he never put his hands on her. Yet, as Amy mentions here this sort of thing is an extremely slippery slope where it can get so much worse and this is just where some of the hardship is beginning.
Hopefully, by the end of this episode (which is set in New Orleans), we’ll get a sense as to what Candace is going to try and do. This is going to be a dramatic episode at times, as there are many different things that will be unfolding within the Big Easy. Yet, given the setting of the episode, you also better prepare for there to be a lot of fun, as well. This is a place where people let loose, and we do think that many of the cast members will use that as an opportunity to try and get away from some of their problems.
