NCIS season 16 episode 2 promo introduces a hot-tub mystery

What’s coming up on Tuesday’s NCIS season 16 episode 2? Let’s just say that you may be gearing up for one of the grossest murders yet. The promo below hypes up this episode in this very way; as a matter of fact, this murder is so gross that apparently, Kasie is eager to see it. (Consider it a morbid curiosity; we do suppose that if you’re in this job, we have a feeling that this sort of case is one that will stand out.)

How gross is this dead body? The photo above offers up some sort of clue, as they are discovered in the hot tub. Interestingly, rather than removing the body from said hot tub it feels almost like Gibbs and the rest of the team are instead just hauling this tub around from one place to the next.

By the end of this episode, we hope that the team is going to have some answers … but there could be a number of hijinks along the way. How else do you describe Jack Sloane using a British accent at one point, or Palmer and Torres ending up behind bars in another? There are a number of crazy things that are happening within this episode and we’re eager to see how a number of these end up playing out. At the center of it, after all, is a serious case; while there may be a lot of comedy we get a chance to see here, eventually we do imagine that the writers are going to focus back in on seeing if the good guys can actually resolve the murder without any further trouble.
