Criminal Minds season 14 episode 3 spoilers: Simmons’ big spotlight story

Criminal Minds season 14 episode 3

Criminal Minds season 14 is going to contain a number of personal stories throughout it, and a fine example will come in episode 3. After episode 2 features a major storyline for David Rossi, episode 3 will put the spotlight on Matt Simmons. Kelly Frye will return in this episode as his wife Kristy, and in this hour you will also see their son David. This marks an opportunity to see Simmons as a father, and this could be emotional for him as he tries to find a way to connect with him during a tough time.

Below, CarterMatt has the Criminal Minds season 14 episode 3 synopsis for some other information as to what you can expect to see:

“Rule 34” – When packages with gruesome contents are delivered to six people in the Washington, D.C. area, the BAU must first figure out what connects the recipients before they can identify the UnSub. Also, Simmons and Kristy (Kelly Frye) struggle to connect with their son, David, who is suspended from school for aggressive behavior, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Oct. 17 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

This episode is important because of the UnSub mission, for sure, but what we are most excited to see this season are some of the spotlights for the various other characters. This is, after all, not something that we have always had in the other seasons and we think that they could eventually come together and work in order to make Criminal Minds season 14 stronger as a whole.

Criminal Minds will premiere on CBS Wednesday night with new episodes; be sure to check back for more coverage leading up to it!
