It wasn’t too long ago that we wrote an article stating that we would like to see Outlander season 4 promoted in different cities with different cast members. After all, this was a chance to get the show attention in new markets, and also to give a whole new crop of fans an opportunity in order to attend.
Well, it seems like today, Starz is looking to make some fans of the series rather happy. After all, there is a premiere screening coming in Georgia! Per a report from Entertainment Weekly, come October 28 you are going to see an event happen at the SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) Savannah Film Festival, which is referred to as SAVFF for short. That’s a lot of abbreviations! Beyond just the screening, at the conclusion of the event select cast members and producers will take part in a panel discussion. This will be live-streamed from the official Facebook page for the series. There is also going to be a costume exhibit at the SCAD Museum of Art, one that will feature a number of costumes from the upcoming season of the series.
In the end, we’re going to have a chance to see a really fun here that commemorates the best of this show. If you love Outlander, this will be a way to celebrate it and feel like you are immersed within the show experience. There are few other opportunities that one gets to dive in on this sort of level leading up to a premiere! The only other major ones before the premiere are coming first to PaleyFest on October 5, and then at New York Comic-Con the following day.
As for where you can get tickets, the site notes that you can visit the link here on October 1 to try to secure some. Given that this is Outlander, we have a feeling that they are going to be in high demand.
