Gotham season 4 Netflix release date officially revealed
In a new post on Twitter, series star Camren Bicondova (Selina Kyle) confirmed that the fourth season is going to premiere on Netflix come October 1. This is going to be an exciting opportunity to see all of the episodes at once and for those who haven’t seen it just yet, it’s pretty fantastic. Bruce Wayne gets so much closer to becoming Batman, and to go along with it we also saw the evolution of Jim Gordon, the rise of Jeremiah, and a very different Poison Ivy by the end of the season. This was an action-packed, dynamic season, and one that we’ve missed over the past few years.
Will Netflix help boost the ratings for Gotham season 5? Maybe slightly, but often viewers who watch a show for the first time on Netflix also end up watching it in the future on Netflix. We do understand this to a certain degree. After all, if you’re used to checking things out a certain way, why would you change the viewing pattern? We just hope that there is an opportunity for the series to gain a little bit of steam — we’re not sure that a season 6 is really even possible given that this is the final season, but we do want to see the series wrap up in the biggest and most-dramatic way possible. Is that too much to really ask? We know that there are many exciting things planned for the end of the road.
