The Gifted season 2 episode 2 preview: The revolution is under way
Let’s start with this: It feels clear at the moment that Reeva is going to be one of the biggest forces to reckon with when it comes to this season. Grace Byers wasted no time making her presence felt after coming on board in the premiere. Things are only going to get more intense from here, as we will see some more mutants rise to the forefront, the tensions between the two sides get more severe, and hopefully some shifting alliances since we don’t want to continue to see our central family in so much disarray.
Below, the Gifted season 2 episode 2 synopsis offers up a little bit more information when it comes to what lies ahead:
Thunderbird contacts a mutant lawyer who recruited him to the Underground years ago, hoping she can help him find the Inner Circle. Lauren and Andy have a shared dream, which distracts Andy from his training and prompts Reeva to consider cutting her losses with him, which, in turn, makes Andy second-guess his separation from his sister. Meanwhile, Reed must keep a huge secret from the group and Jace picks up the mutants’ trail again in the all-new “unMoored” episode of THE GIFTED airing Tuesday, October 2nd on FOX.
There is a good bit to like about the promo below, but we do also need to be cognizant of the fact that this is a look ahead at the entire season, and not so much just a look ahead at what is coming immediately down the road. This should be an action-packed, intense batch of episodes and we’re very much looking forward to diving into most of it.
