Lodge 49 episode 9 preview: Is everything crashing down?
When it comes to Dud, for example, he thinks that he and Ernie are actually well on their way to something huge when it comes to the arrangement he’s working out with the Captain. It’s a scheme that could net all of them tons of money, but the thing they don’t seem to be realizing here is that if the Gary is willing to scam other people, he’s also willing to scam them. We don’t see this working out all that well for the two guys; they might get ahead in their lives eventually, but it’s hard to imagine it falling in their laps because Gary, a guy who we found hanging out in a hot tub in the middle of nowhere, is some sort of cooperative business savant.

Band Night at the Lodge. Dud and Ernie are eager to close their deal with Captain, but all may not be what it seems…
AMC is not giving you all that much in advance of this episode airing, and that seems to be a pretty clear sign that there’s some crazy stuff going down over the course of the hour. We don’t have any clues at all when it comes to Liz, who seemed to have made the right moves up the corporate ladder tonight. We do think that her arrangement is a little bit more legit than Dud’s, but she may be putting too much stock into what excelling at a conference actually means in terms of her overall future.
