The Last Ship season 5 episode 4 preview: Chandler’s worst nightmare

Last Ship season 5 posterWant to know what lies ahead when it comes to The Last Ship season 5 episode 4? Let’s just say that any feeling of victory may be short-lived. Tom Chandler realizes that the crew at the Nathan James have started to secure some victories. Yet, he also realizes at the same time that the crew is definitely not out of the woods. Gustavo is not going to react well to the idea that Chandler is building ranks against him and even getting other countries to work together — it seemed as though he was convinced at the end of the episode to focus most of his energy on Eric Dane’s character. He was told that he was largely the threat and because of that, he was the person to be afraid of moving forward.

On some level, Chandler has to be preparing for the worst; as a matter of fact, The Last Ship season 5 episode 3 synopsis basically confirms that:

As Nathan James and her allies attempt to prevent the enemy moving north, Chandler’s haunting visions manifest into reality.

Over the course of this episode, we are going to hopefully have a chance to see a few different surprises, especially since there is another threat that is out there in the form of his own President. Apparently, there is a rather large perception that Chandler is a threat, mostly because there were some who felt like he could lead the country. There’s nothing worse than a jealous politician, especially since they are one of the few kinds of people who has the ability to actually act out on some of that jealousy.

As for the battle at sea, there isn’t that much that we can tease for now — other than that we expect some more battles at sea given that the crew at the James are still undermanned.
