America’s Got Talent finale results: Was Zurcaroh, Shin Lim season 13 winner?
Who was the winner for America’s Got Talent season 13: Courtney Hadwin, Shin Lim, or someone else? In this article, we’re coming at you with some results!
Of course, in typical show fashion, it took a rather long time to actually get to all of the results, mostly because there were so many other things going on — take all of the celebrity duets, the random filler segments, and some of the comedy. (We will say this: There was a surprisingly large amount of good content wedged in here compared to some other finales.)

Here, we’re mostly focusing on the results. Entering tonight, we thought there were four reasonable candidates to win the whole season: Courtney, Shin, Zurcaroh, and Michael Ketterer. They all delivered last night, and have been considered favorites for a while.
The acts to make it into the top five are Shin, Zurcaroh, Samuel J. Comroe, Michael, and Brian King Joseph! Major congrats to Brian, as that’s the one we weren’t quite sure of. Here’s the big shocker: Courtney Hadwin was not in the top five. We thought she was a consensus favorite but it just didn’t come to pass.
The top two – Zurcaroh and Shin. Two very different acts and it’s cool that variety was the top two.
The winner – Shin! He’s done it! Huzzah! We’re really excited for him, especially since he’s done so many wonderful acts and only gotten better every single week. Zurcaroh is a wonderful runner-up, and we think this makes season 13 a very satisfying one overall.
