Jersey Shore Family Vacation Part 2: Why did JWoww really leave?
According to the MTV series (and the preview for what’s coming up), it seemed as though Jenni was leaving out of frustration over Snooki inviting Angela Pivarnick and her friend Joey to Vegas — basically, that she was marginalizing her friendship with her longtime co-star and Jenni was apparently pissed off enough to pack up her things and leave.
However, this is reality television and with that, nothing is ever what it seems to be. That definitely appears to be the case here, because as it turns out Jenni’s departure has more to do with her family than anything going on in the house — though this is obviously a less-exciting turn of events from a television standpoint. They obviously want to show as much drama wherever they can and because of that, the version presented on TV was a little bit more explosive.
It was Jenni’s co-star Snooki who made the editing clear in a new interview with BuzzFeed (which you can watch below), where she talked about her own frustrations with the series:
“I got upset for Jenni because she left for her son, because her son had a doctor appointment; [however,] they made it seem like she left because she was mad that I invited Joey and Angelina.”
Ultimately, we don’t really see this frustration leading to any permanent animosity with Jersey Shore Family Vacation or MTV on the part of the cast, mostly because this is the way reality television is and on some level, they are all probably well aware of it at this point. Yet, it’s also probably something that gets aggravating for them a few times a year when they have a very clear recollection of what actually happens and then this alternative interpretation hits the air.
