If you look below, you can see (via the show’s official Instagram) Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson along the famous Cornish coastline, apparently dealing with some heavy winds. This is one of the natural challenges that comes with filming the show in Cornwall — you have to deal with whatever sort of weather conditions come your way. That means at times some windy conditions, but they have a crew who knows very well how to deal with them.
To date, the Poldark production team has done a fairly good job of sharing images while also keeping them reasonably spoiler-free in the process — though admittedly, it’s a little bit easier to do earlier on in the season than a little bit later on down the road. It admittedly becomes a little bit more challenging when you immerse the characters more in the story and in whatever obstacles they are facing along the way. In the early going, it’s easy mostly because of the fact that the show has to often reset its story and its characters in the early going. Not everyone, after all, will remember what happened at the end of the most-recent finale, and you also need to establish where everyone is in the event there is some sort of massive time jump along the way.
At the moment, there is no season 5 premiere date for the series, but that will probably be revealed next spring. Poldark season 4 is premiering in the US at the end of the month.
