Fear the Walking Dead season 4 episode 15: Will Martha return?

Fear the Walking Dead season 3 episode 11 reviewMoving into Fear the Walking Dead season 4 episode 15, is Martha still going to be around? That question was just posed on this past episode thanks to the story.

After all, we saw the Martha character shot! That’s not the sort of thing that a lot of people bounce back from. Yet, at the same time this is clearly someone who has been through a lot already and is going to have no problem at all getting revenge by any means necessary. There’s a reasonably good chance that she survives, just as there is a reasonably good chance that she wrecks a lot of havoc on some other characters moving forward.

Speaking via Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Ian Goldberg had the following to say:

Well, we saw in this episode Martha suffered a pretty bad gunshot wound. We can tell you she may be down, but she’s not out. She will be back next episode. We also saw her lose her walker, Quinn, in this episode, and we know that Martha doesn’t like to be without one, so she’s going to be on the lookout for a new walker.

Who wants to speculate that the new walker may end up being Jim, who found himself bit on tonight’s episode? We would hope that Morgan would find a way to put the dude out of his misery first, but it’s certainly possible Martha gets a hold of him first. We know that she finds walkers rather useful — they work as an effective human shield and they help to ensure that other people fear her. It’s for that reason that you don’t see more people utilize them in this world in some shape or form.

No matter how long she lasts, it’s pretty darn clear at this point that Martha is going to be leaving her mark on the series.
